一、課程簡介：

「台灣教育與文化」課程由中正大學成人與繼續教育學系蔡秀美副教授全程以英文授課，學習對象以對於台灣的歷史文化與教育有興趣的大學生，尤其想了解台灣的國際學生為主。

本課程採用英文的教材以較廣的文化視角解析台灣的歷史文化，並呈現台灣教育近年來的發展與特色，帶領讀者瞭解台灣四百年的歷史演進、瞭解台灣社會與文化、瞭解台灣教育制度以及近年來教育改革的方向。旨在使學生瞭解台灣自十六世紀以來的歷史與文化、認識台灣當前社會組織、文化習俗與教育制度與台灣近廿十年教育改革的方向。
